Biologist Lee Grismer earlier this month made good on his word to capture an elusive cave-dwelling gecko near the Malaysia-Thailand border. He also came back with a beautiful, but deadly viper that may prey on the gecko species. Read about his hair-raising adventure here.

Hilmer Besel founded La Sierra’s math department, math major and computer science major. But most of all, his is a life of integrity that places others’ needs first.
